Questions

Common questions

My radio says "No signal". What do I check first?

Tune to preview channel 184. If you hear audio there, the receiver and the antenna are fine and the problem is the subscription or an activation that has not landed yet. If 184 is silent too, it is almost always the antenna lead — check it is seated at both ends and that the antenna itself has a clear view of the sky rather than sitting under a roof rack or a metal sunroof surround.

How is the annual price different from the monthly price?

An annual plan is paid once for twelve months and works out cheaper per month than paying month to month. The figures on this page are the annual cost divided over twelve months, so you can compare them fairly. Nothing is charged monthly on an annual plan.

I have been charged more than I expected. What now?

Usually it is an introductory rate that has ended and rolled onto the standard price, or a plan that renewed on a date you had forgotten. Call us with the amount and the date it hit your statement and we will tell you which of the two it is and what your options are.

Can I move my plan to a different car?

Yes, in most cases. What matters is the receiver identifier in the new vehicle, not the vehicle itself. Have the new radio ID ready when you call — it is in the radio's menu, usually under Settings or Advanced, and it is also on preview channel 0 on many receivers.
